Young Athletes League Rd 3

North Down made the most of their position as host club on Tuesday evening at Ballyclare to cruise into the final of the Northern Ireland Young Athletes League which will be held at Antrim on Saturday 26th July. With plenty of athletes on call it was often a case of trying to fit people in though only a limited number of events were available and those doing, for them, unusual events deserve congratulations. Among others Jordan Stokes at high jump, Kerrie Craig at javelin and Katie Dickson at discus are, well unusual. A big thank you is also due to the large number of officials turning up, particularly parents and road runners.
