As part of the British Cross Challenge ANI sent teams across to Milton Keynes to compete in the races on Saturday. Craig McMeechan represented the NI and Ulster senior men and completed the race in 45th position from over 500 finishers. This was a strong performance in an elite field of runners where he completed the testing course at a rate of 5:17 per mile, recording 30:41.
Eskander Turki was the lead NI runner home in 16th with Andrew Milligan 19th, both a little over one minute ahead of Craig. The remaining NI runner, Finn McNally pulled out of the race.
