Kerry Iveston was 9th in the U18 Girls” Race at Slieve Gallion on the edge of the Sperrins when the British and Irish Junior Mountain Championships were held on Sunday on home ground. With Michelle Sturm 6th and Angela Speight 13th, the team won the Bronze medal behind England and the South and were the most successful of the Northern Ireland teams. As widely predicted, England won the bulk of the titles with Scotland taking the boys U14 race and boys U16 team title.
