Congratulations to David Seaton on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Northern Ireland Athletic Federation (NIAF), following the untimely death of the previous Chairman Bobby Rea. David is an MBE and has been involved in athletics for nearly 50 years, both as a still active competitor and as an administrator and coach. He has been the long serving Chairman of the NIAF Cross Country and Road Running commitee and has been a key figure in the promotion and organisation of the Belfast International Cross Country and the Belfast Marathon since their inception. He is a former Chairman of North Down AC where he and his family have been members for many years
