[Not a valid template]In Dublin on Sunday, Metropolitan Harriers and St. Brigids AC held the 30th anniversary of the Gerry Farnan Cross Country Festival, adjacent to the Magazine Fort in Phoenix Park. North Down had 4 runners who all had good races. The Ladies Team finished 4th overall in the 3 mile senior race behind Raheney, DSD and Leevale. Rachel Gibson was 29th in 18:22 min, Jessica Craig 34th in 18:37 and Melissa Eccles 66th in 21:22. Francis Marsh ran 27:47 in the 5 mile senior mens race in 52nd overall and was 2nd M45. Corey Brown came 31st in 25:46 in the men’s u20 while Katie Moore came 15th in 13:04 in the women’s u20 race – before going autograph hunting after the European XC champion!
