Heavy Going in Dromore.

The sun shone brightly but recent heavy rains on the always-tough Dromore course meant mud – lots of it. North Down just had 4 runners, 2 each in the mens veterans and ladies races which were held over 3 miles at the same time. John Quiery was 8th in 20.51 min and was 2nd M50 to Alan Keys. Norman Lellyett won the M60″s and was 11th overall in 21.36 min. In the ladies race Ange Perrot was 6th in 25.07 min and Jill Dowie was 11th in 26.22 min. Richard Rodgers of Newcasltle won the veterans race for the 3rd successive year.  Brian Campbell of Willowfield was the winner of the 5 mile open race. Aisling Fagan won the open womens race.
