Lynne Kerr ran the Benidorn Half Marathon on Sunday in 1.43.27 and got 3rd in the over 50 category. This is her best time since Omagh in 2009. The day was warm with plenty of sunshine and the course was quite hilly but with plenty of spectators. It was well organized with the results displayed quickly. The large goody bag had 2 tee shirts ( one technical), towel, 2 hats, fruit, drinks, snacks and nibbles all for £18 entry fee. Lynne won a 5k ran last Sunday in Los Montesinos in 21.52min. She got two cups, 1st overall and 1st O/50.
In other news over the weekend Marie Devine ran her 50th parkrun on Saturday and Pat O’Driscoll came 71st in the 10 mile Running 4 Rescue, running 1:52.01 and 3rd M65. Congratulations to all
