Nobody got a seasons best let alone a personal one, the wind was far too strong. That was really the point of the meeting at the MADNITS middle distance meet for 800m and 3000m at Antrim Stadium but at least it was a race when there are not too many around. For North Down James Budde was 2nd in the "A" 800m in 1:58.09; John Carlisle was 1st in the "B" race in 2:05.20 with Robin Brown 3rd in 2:09.14, Niall Robinson 4th in 2:10.02 and Mark Patterson 6th in 2:12.58. In the 3000m Francis Marsh was 1st in 9:08.2.
