This year’s age group finales are at opposite ends of the country. The unevens will be at Cork on 4th December and the evens were in Donegal, Rosapenna on Sunday.
The Rosapenna course was literally on the golf course, so firm ground on a links course was to be expected. There is also an abundance of sand around and there was enough of it on the cross country course to sap the legs.
