Portaferry Ten Mile Race

[Not a valid template]There were a record 281 finishers as the Portaferry 10 mile road race was held in good conditions on Tuesday. Nicklas Arkensparr was again the first North Down runner home in 61.43 min though it was the girls who got the bragging rights. Kerry Iveston was 2nd female open in 68.16 min and Stephanie Hambling was 2nd vet in 68.26 min. Lynne Kerr and Debbie Matchett won the incorporated womens 2 x 5 mile relay in 69.20 min .Deane Fisher in 53.56 min and Breege Connolly in 60.51 min were the respective winners of the male and female races.
