Long time NDAC members Terry Eakin and Pat O’Driscoll made the long journey north to Derry/Londonderry on Wednesday to compete in the ever popular Bay Road 5K organised by City of Derry Spartans AC.
Terry once again had a fantastic result, finishing in 51st position in 18:58 and, adding to his tally of records setting a new course record for M65 in the process. Pat crossed the line in 27:28 and finishing in 127th.
The race was eventually won by St. Columbs AC athlete Keith Shiels in 15:23 while the first lady to cross the line was Springwell AC’s Gillian Wasson in 18:27.
