The second Edwards Meeting took place at Antrim Forum with Mary Peters now unavailble. North Down athletes at the meeting included Claire Francis who was 9th at U15 1500m in 5:40.22, Olivia Cumming who was 5th in U15 100m in 13.66 secs and 4th at long jump with 4.16m. Beth Wilson won the open discus with a pb of 36.26m.
